Drew Rabe is a Managing Director and Head of Philanthropic Advisory at BBH. In this role, Drew leads BBH’s philanthropic practice and works closely with individuals, families, and foundations on all aspects of their philanthropy, including strategy, governance, grantmaking, and family engagement. He guides clients in building efficient, effective structures for their philanthropy so their efforts align with their values and financial goals. Prior to joining the firm, Drew served as Managing Director at Arabella Advisors, where he partnered with clients on their philanthropy. He led Arabella’s integrated structures practice, facilitating major charitable giving by providing donors with access to a wide range of vehicles and support services.

Earlier in his career, Drew served as Chief Operating Officer for Asia Pacific at the Open Society Foundations (OSF), where he oversaw operations across the region and led a multi-year strategic reorganization and integration process. He began his career practicing law in New York, first in Simpson Thacher & Bartlett’s Exempt Organizations Department and then in OSF’s General Counsel’s Office.

Drew received a B.A. summa cum laude from Boston College and a J.D. from Columbia Law School. He serves on the board of directors of Partnership to End Addiction.
