Valentino Carlotti

Valentino Carlotti is a Partner of BBH and Head of the Institutional Client Group (ICG) for BBH Credit Partners. ICG is the sales and relationship management arm for institutional clients focused on building long term partnerships through tailored investment solutions. Prior to his current role, Val held multiple roles across BBH, including within the Investment Management division and as head of Corporate Advisory & Banking.

Prior to joining the firm, Val was the Chief Business Development Officer at Sotheby’s Auction House and a member of its Executive Management Committee. Prior to Sotheby’s, he was a Senior Partner at Goldman Sachs, where he worked from 1994 to 2017. During his career at Goldman Sachs, Val held leadership roles in investment banking, institutional equities sales and client relationship management, among other areas, culminating as the Head of Institutional Client Group and President of the Goldman Sachs Brazil Bank.

Outside of BBH, Val is involved in numerous philanthropic institutions, including serving on the boards of trustees of The Boys’ Club of New York (BCNY), Carnegie Hall, and The American Ballet Theater. He was the 2017 recipient of BCNY’s Harriman Award for outstanding public service to the New York City community. Val received a B.A. from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
