ESG Policy Statement

BBHCP is committed to sustainable and responsible investing. As long-term active managers, we believe the incorporation of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations is fundamental to our internal operations, our due diligence processes, and our post-closing strategic oversight of our portfolio companies. Through a purposeful commitment to ESG, BBHCP seeks to enhance the sustainability and durability of our own business and the companies in which we invest. This commitment from BBHCP manifests itself in three ways:
 
  • Identification and measurement of key ESG metrics within BBHCP’s own business and an effort to improve those metrics over time
  • Formal evaluation and integration of ESG criteria into key steps of our due diligence of new investments
  • Partnership with current portfolio companies to identify key ESG initiatives and make progress where applicable
 
BBHCP intends to be transparent in its efforts to formally incorporate and monitor ESG considerations across our portfolio and internally. We will strive to regularly communicate progress toward our goals with the appropriate stakeholders. In partnership with the broader BBH ecosystem, BBHCP is committed to continually educating ourselves and our partners about how the evolving ESG landscape can be integrated to best serve our investors, portfolio companies, and community.1
