Patricia Matthews

Tricia Matthews is a Senior Trust Officer with Brown Brothers Harriman Trust Company of Delaware. In this role, she works with ultra-high-net-worth clients and is responsible for managing complex family trust relationships and the administration of Delaware situs trusts where BBH was named as trustee.

Prior to joining the firm, Tricia was a Senior Trust Officer with the J.P. Morgan Trust Company of Delaware, aligned to the U.S. Financial Institutions Group working with ultra-high-net-worth clients. Prior to the U.S. Financial Institutions Group, she was responsible for a book of business that was concentrated in the Mid-Atlantic region and included advanced wealth structuring techniques such as Delaware statutory trusts. Her experience included preparing younger family generations for the wealth that they would eventually inherit and developing trusting relationships with all family members. Tricia's experience at J.P. Morgan also included working on the firm's Learning and Talent Solutions team for four years, where she was the global lead for the professional skills development for Audit, Legal, the Office of Finance, and Risk Management and Compliance employees. In this role, she helped to shape the employee experience, develop key behavior and skills of leaders and teams, and bring the global community together. Tricia also facilitated virtual and in-person professional development training sessions for these employees that focused on topics such as emotional intelligence, presentation skills, global collaboration, cross cultural awareness, and branding.

Tricia received a B.A. from St. Mary's College of Maryland and is a certified facilitator for Stratton Consulting's Interpersonal Leadership Styles development program.
