Christopher Gothard

Chris Gothard is a Partner of the firm, responsible for our Global Markets group within the Investor Services division and is Supervising Partner for BBH in the UK. Chris joined BBH in 2002 and has held a number of roles within our Foreign Exchange business in London and Hong Kong in addition to serving as the Office Head for London.

Passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion, Chris is the executive sponsor of BBH’s Global Women’s Network as well as BBH London’s Pride and Black Affinity Networks, employee-led groups supporting efforts to create a diverse, welcoming and inclusive workplace for all BBHers to thrive at work. He is a member of BBH's Global Inclusion Council, and he co-leads the Mental Wellbeing pillar of BBH’s employee wellness program, 'Thrive'.

Chris has a bachelor’s degree in literature from the University of York and holds a Graduate Certificate with Distinction in economics from the University of London.
