Anthony DePalma is the Global Head of Custody, Reference Data, Markets & Private Banking Services, and Institutional Middle Office. These divisions include functions across our Asset Servicing, Markets, and Investment Operations offerings, such as Corporate Actions, Fund Order & Custody, Foreign Exchange, and Securities Lending. He is responsible for the overall product strategy, technology investments, and advancing new service offerings to our clients.
Anthony actively advocates for industry initiatives that enhance automation, reduce risk, and leverage data to improve client insights and decision-making opportunities. He also drives integration across our products and services to improve and unify the client experience.
Anthony joined BBH in 1993. He has held various leadership positions within Service Delivery during his tenure, including management of the global cash services, funds transfer, trade processing, BBH Direct®, central pricing, custody client service, and security master file departments. In addition to his management responsibilities, Anthony played a significant role in architecting and developing the overall strategy and implementation of BBH’s corporate actions, security master file, and trade processing technology platforms.
He is passionate about industry transformation and is an active member in numerous forums – SWIFT Clearing and Settlement, Asset Servicing Advisory Board, U.S. ISITC Corporate Actions Working Group, the Issuer to Investor (I2I) Stakeholder Group, and the DTCC Reengineering Technical Working Group.
Anthony holds a B.S. in economics from Providence College.
