Internships at BBH: Meet Zeline Bartolome

The best stories are the stories that come from the people who live them. Hear from Zeline Bartolome.

I was uncertain about what a virtual internship would be like during COVID or whether it would happen at all. I was relieved to learn that I would still have the opportunity to work for BBH in a safe environment and I was grateful to BBH for adapting quickly so that we could have this experience.

Many of my introductions with my team members and standing meetings were done over Zoom, so I was still able to meet “face-to-face” regularly and get a sense of the culture. Once the other interns and I started to spend more time on our own tasks, we started having daily calls with our managers who provided guidance on expectations, but also made clear the value of our work which gave us a real sense of purpose. I felt like I was truly making an impact and was part of something much bigger than my individual contribution.
