PHILADELPHIA, PA – October 3, 2024 – Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael N. McGrann as Managing Director in the firm’s Center for Family Business, based in the Philadelphia office. In this role, Mike will help private business owners navigate issues at the intersection of family and business.

His reputation amongst them is stellar,” said Ben Persofsky, Head of the BBH Center for Family Business. In addition to his work supporting private business owners, Mike has taught at several universities. He founded the Family Business Center at St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. Mike is a faculty member of several business accreditation programs – including the Exit Planning Institute and the Family Enterprise Advisor Program. He also teaches an MBA class at Columbia Business School focused on family enterprises and family offices.
