BBH Announces Alan O’Sullivan Has Been Appointed Global Head of Financial Institutions

Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. is pleased to announce that Alan O’Sullivan, a Principal of the firm, has been appointed Global Head of Financial Institutions.

DUBLIN, Ireland, November 28, 2023 - Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. is pleased to announce that Alan O’Sullivan, a Principal of the firm, has been appointed Global Head of BBH’s Financial Institutions business.

In this role, Alan will be responsible for our Financial Institutions clients globally and driving growth in this segment. He will oversee the delivery of custody, technology, and innovative data solutions to help BBH’s bank clients access new revenue sources, manage their data and technology platforms more efficiently and create differentiation in competitive markets.

Since joining BBH in 1996, Alan has served as European Head of Business Development for Investor Services, Head of Relationship Management and Business Development in Dublin, and worked in Treasury and Securities Lending departments in Boston, where he lived for 3 years. Alan served as Chair of Irish Funds in 2016-2017. Alan also serves as Director of BBH Fund Administration Services (Ireland) and Director of the BBH Luxembourg Fund (SICAV) and is a member of BBH’s European Steering Committee.
