Andrew Levy

Andrew Levy is a Principal of BBH and Co-Manager of BBH Cedar Street Equity (BBHCSE). Andrew has day-to-day management responsibility for BBHCSE, interacts regularly with limited partners, and is actively involved in sourcing, investment evaluation, transaction execution, and post-closing monitoring of portfolio companies. Andrew has extensive private equity investing and M&A experience. Previously, he was Group Head and Chairman of the Investment Committee of Direct Equity Partners, Credit Suisse’s U.S. private equity co-investment business. Prior to that, Andrew was at Newbury Partners ($6 billion AUM) where he oversaw the co-investment business after spending time at HQ Capital as a co-head of their co-investment fund. Previously, he spent seven years focused on M&A and corporate development at portfolio companies backed by KKR and Providence Equity Partners. Andrew began his career in the Global M&A Group at Citicorp Securities. Andrew received a B.B.A. from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
